What is Concurrent Enrollment?
Concurrent enrollment is an opportunity to receive required credits for high school graduation, while also earning college credits. Additionally, it provides students with the opportunity to earn college credits at a significantly reduced rate when compared with standard tuition rates.
How much does it cost?
Students will be required to pay tuition of $5 per credit at the time of registration. Failure to pay tuition may result in a frozen transcript. There is also a one-time application fee of $30-$40 depending on the institution. Books and supplies may or may not be covered by the school district.

Is Concurrent Enrollment right for my student?
CHHS recommends parents have an honest and objective conversation with their student regarding their readiness for college-level coursework. It is important to note that all Concurrent Enrollment grades will be permanently listed on a student’s college transcript. Thus, students need to be prepared and ready for the level of coursework expected.
