Dear Parents,
Copper Hills will be giving the Pre-ACT to Sophomores on December 11th.
Please see the section below depending on whether your student is a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior to know what to do that day:
Sophomores:
On Friday, December 11th, all Sophomores need to check in with their proctors at their assigned classroom between 7:00 - 7:30am. (Students must be IN THE TESTING ROOM by 7:30am.) Transportation will be running the buses on the regular M-TH routes and times to help Sophomores arrive by 7am.
After the test is completed by 11:15am, the cafeteria will have grab and go lunches available for students who want them. Buses will leave at 11:30am to return bused students on their regular routes.
Teachers will then be available online in the afternoon on a modified Friday A Day schedule (See schedule below).
Modified Friday A Day Schedule for Pre-ACT (Friday, December 11th)
7:00am – 7:30am – Sophomores arrive and get checked into PreACT
7:30am – 11:10am – PreACT Administration to Sophomores
11:10am – 12:00pm – Lunch (Buses leave at 11:30am)
12:10pm – 12:40pm – 1st Period Teachers Available Online
12:45pm – 1:15pm – 2nd Period Teachers Available Online
1:20pm – 1:50pm – 3rd Period Teachers Available Online
1:55pm – 2:25pm – 4th Period Teachers Available Online
Buses run an additional route home at the end of the day
Juniors and Seniors:
Each year during the Pre-ACT, Copper Hills Counselors hold workshops for students not participating in the exam. This year, we’re offering the options virtually to Juniors, Seniors and Parents. From 8-11AM on December 11, please join us for more information that will help you as you prepare for graduation, college, and a future career. To join these information sessions via Zoom on the 11th, you’ll find the links on the Copper Hills Counseling Website. A schedule of these classes is in the box below.
In the afternoon, Juniors and Seniors are welcome to check in with their teachers online in the Modified Friday A Day Schedule in the sophomore section above.
